1921 Dr. Yutaka Kon was appointed chair and professor
1925 Professor Kon was appointed dean of Hokkaido Imperial University School of Medicine

1989 Dr. Takashi Yoshiki was appointed chair and professor

1999 Professor Yoshiki organized the 43rd annual general assembly and scientific meeting of the Japan College of Rheumatology
2004 Hokkaido University was reorganized as National University Corporation
